Shimmery Complex Roses

I tend to gravitate towards interesting colors. No straight pinks or greens for me! I like complex, multidimensional colors--murky taupey browns, iridescent pinky browns, luminous reddish pinky peaches. These shades are all what I'd considering interesting. They're all a blend of several tones and are of varying depths. If pressed for a one word description I'd use "rose," but that would belie the complexity of the shades.

From left to right: Origins Rose Gold, Shiseido SL13, Dolce and Gabbana Naked, Julie Hewett Nude Noir, Clinique Gingerfrost, Lancome Rendez-Vous

  1. I have Shiseido shimmering lipstick in SL3, it looks so freaking metallic in the tube, but is gorgeous, it looks a lot like the one here...
This kind of shimmery complex rose is one of my favorite colors, I find it is a great accent to the smoky eye colors I like to wear

  2. The Shiseido has a silver metallic overspray that hides the true color until it's applied! I did a double-check and it's definitely SL13! I guess they produced similar looking shades!

  3. There's this gloss by Jouer called Sunset, its part of the Sunday brunch set, its a really pretty pinky/rose/gold, sort of in the same theme as these colors, thought you might it enjoy it! :)
I really love the feel of this gloss: so light and creamy and non-sticky
