Starting to Think About April's Bergdorf Goodman Beauty Event
Several times a year Bergdorfs offers $25 off $100 beauty purchase. Those who have been shopping there long enough likely remember when it used to be $25 off $50, then $25 off $75, but $25 off anything is better than nothing and I rarely fail to take advantage of it.
The next event is towards the end of April (I get a different answer from every sales associate I ask, some say the 19th, others the 20th, still others just say the 3rd week of April) and will be coinciding with a Le Metier de Beaute event that runs the 19th through the 25th.
I've been mulling over what to get and have a few 'definites' and a few 'maybes' to consider. Is anybody else planning to go or order? What are you thinking about picking up?
So far I definitely need a refill of my Clinique Take the Day Off Balm. I'm also pretty sure I want Le Metier de Beaute Creme Fresh Tint in Tenne and Radiance Powder Rouge in Echo.
Other possibilities include the Bobbi Brown Blush Brush and Mahogany Creamy Eye Pencil, Edward Bess Intimate Eye Shadow, and I usually end up with a new lipstick or gloss.

The Le Metier mascara is really good too; I still wish the brush was narrower, but I love the formula and recently repurchased it.
ReplyDeleteThe Le Metier creme lipglosses are worth a look too.
Yes to the Edward Bess; I think you'll love it.
Hi. Love your blog. What is the offering for the Le Metier de Beaute beauty event? Are they offering new things? or special goodies? I love that brand and now i am definately intrigued! :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the suggestions, Grace! I'll definitely have to check out the creme lip glosses and now you've convinced me to get the Edward Bess.
ReplyDeleteAfricanOrchid, I'm not sure if Le Metier will have a GWP or anything new besides the palettes and creme blushes but will have to ask!
Hey! I was told by 4 different SAs on the Beauty Level that it was the 21st of April.
ReplyDeleteI'm probably going to get the new Edward Bess cream blush, the new Edward Bess eyeshadow trio, and another Paul and Joe eye gloss. I already have a huge order waiting for me at the Paul and Joe counter, so I don't want to go overboard. I do want to try Le Metier, finally - last time I went to the counter they were out of stock of the two items I wanted.
*sniffles* I miss when it was $25 off $75!
I know I'll place an order. I think I'll get the Ellis concealer and I'm not sure what else to get me to the $100 limit. I would like to try Le Metier but I think I'd rather see that line in person at Neimans since I can do that.
ReplyDeleteYou will love Intimate, Pennie. If you don't have it, you may also like EB's Bare Rose gloss.
Thanks for the info, Joey! Some of the BG SAs are very well informed, others not so much! I really have to go check out the new Edward Bess collection. I didn't think the last shadow set was all that interesting and this one is supposedly all matte so it might not be for me but I am excited to see the cream blush. Enjoy your new P&J goodies!
ReplyDeleteHi, Ammie! I'll definitely check out that gloss! Maybe the new Ellis Highlighters will be in by then? That might be something to consider since you love the line!
ReplyDeleteThat's true- I can always add a highlighter. Thanks for reminding me Pennie.
